I was born in 1958 which would make me 12 years of age in 1970, however, I have no idea whatsoever why the whole thing continues to haunt me. I would love to correspond with a vet

CORRECTION:
My older brother Ed enlisted in the US Army, 4 Div. 22 Inf. Regiment and was deployed to Viet Nam in September 1966. He sustained wounds in the Battle of Soui Tre', March 21, 1967. Ed grew up in northern Alberta. After visiting our parents, Ed was unfortunately killed in a motor vehicle accident in 1970, while returning to his home in the US. It was my most sincere honour to have met several of the Viet vets, who served with Ed, at a 22 Inf. Regiment re-union afew years ago. We thank you for your Service.

It was great having the opportunity to meet Ken Poitras at the 2011 Patriot Ride in Minnesota this past Saturday. I'd like to extend a heartfelt Welcome Home to all our Canadian brothers and sisters. Doc Seeber, USN ('69-'70), Director of the Military Salute Project and member of the Minnesota Patriot Guard.

It was great to meet my northern neighbors and now friends from Canada at the 2011 Minnesota Patriot Guard Rally. The trip goes down as one of the great memories and stories to tell. Thank you so much for making the trip and making it fun. Dean

brad brekke(veitnam vet)recently passed away from complications that came as a result of his service in nam.sa his friend i sorted out his belongings.he was aphoto journalist and author and left a lot of photos from his tour in 69.if anyone is interested they can contact me at my email gary gale

Dear Mr.Poitras,just want to say thank you so much for finding me a phone # for Mrs.Perkin.I forwarded the # to my Dad Doug,in Chilliwack BC,so he could make the 1st call,and on that very day he spoke with Mrs. Perkin's daughter who was very welcoming to him.My Dad is currently in Korea and upon his return he will pick up the phone again to speak with this kind lady.A happy ending to a long story..1960's to 2011..Thank you again for your assistance. I am looking for family of a neighbour of mine when I lived in Oromocto NB in the 1960's.Vernon John Perkin..known as JACK to me went MIA on October 18th,1965.Jack's wife is Barb and 5 children,Leslie,Jackie,Janet,Clayton and Albert.Thank you
