thankyou for your service and welcome home big brother from little sis. I give BANDAID FOR THE HEART medals and sing WELCOME HOME and THANKYOU DEAR SOLDIER plus other Patriotic/60's/Wall/Inspirational songs, and listen without asking questions at the perimeter of the traveling walls. I help Vietnam Veterans cope with the Wall. I've volunteered for 42 Wall venues the past 4 years in 22 states.
you eat an elephant, one bite at a time, so you cope with the Wall just a step at a time. I will be in Dickinson July 11 for the ND PGR Rally and would like to attend the July 17-19 ND VVA reunion. little sis

Admin reply: We appreciate the support you're giving the veterans, and thank you for singing our guestbook.

Just another Canadian Vietnam USMC vet stopping by. I served an extended tour in Nam from 1965 thru 1967. My four year hitch was from 1964 thur 1968. I was born and raised in Winnipeg and left to join the US Marines in August of 1964. I might have been right up there with the first batch of Canadians to enlist? I decided to stay in the US after discharge and don't get back to Canada as much as I would like to. I had a chance to see your travelling wall yesterday in Fargo. It's nice to see that those who gave all are still remembered. It's also nice to know I wasn't alone when I crossed over. Semper Fi to all!

Wayne Bachinski
Sgt. USMC
1964 - 1968

Admin reply: Thank you for signing our guestbook Sgt. Bachinski! It's a pleasure to hear from another Canadian, who crossed over to the southern side of the border to enlist in the US Armed Forces, and serve in the Vietnam War. Welcome Home!!!

Admin reply: Thank you Jason for visiting our domain and signing the guestbook. I enjoyed reading some of the articles on your website and will go back to read it all.

While researching my historical fiction novel about the Vietnam War entitled ROUND EYES, I came across various references of Canadian troops fighting beside the Americans. I salute the Canadian Vietnam veterans, as I salute the American vets who served in that thankless war. None of you will ever be forgotten.

Admin reply: Thank you for signing our guestbook, we appreciate it!
