Howard's US Military Career

US and Overseas Air Base

  • Howard Palmer served on Active Duty in the US Air Force from 1951 to 1971 in various Air Bases of the United States and overseas. He was assigned as a "Technical Instructor" in Aircraft Electronic and Aircraft Weapons Control Systems for the following aircrafts; F-86, 89, 94, 101, 101, F-4C (110) and the AC-130 Spectra Gunship.

World Wide Assignments

  • Howard served with the (ATC) Air Training Command, (NORAD) North Atlantic Air Defense Command, (TAC) Tactical Air Command, (NATO) North Atlantic Treaty Organization and many other assignments world wide.

Classified Aircrafts

  • Due to the nature of Howard's assignments, he was not allowed to take any photos of the Fighter Interceptors and the C-130 Gunships, because they were highly guarded and classified. Therefore, no such pictures in his profile.

Veterans Organizations

  • Howard was elected Vice President of the International War Veterans Alliance on June 04, 2007 and is also a member of the Canadian Vietnam Veterans Association.
